JWJ PTSA's Privacy Policy

Any information we collect from you will only be used by our PTSA. We will never sell or share your information with other organizations.  The majority of information we collect is through our membership application, and we have designed it to collect the minimum data needed to issue a membership.  Your student's name and homeroom teacher are on the application so that we may deliver your membership cards to them in that class. We will not sell or share your student's name or teacher's name with any other organization.

We strive at all times to be in compliance with the Duval County Schools policy on posting photographs of students, and as parents, guardians, and grandparents we are sensitive to the need to keep our children safe. To that end, we will never post identifiable photos of your student(s) on our website or facebook page without your permission, which you may have given on a media release form at the beginning of the school year. Furthermore, we respect your privacy wishes and will not post identifiable photos of any adult without their permission, either.  We will happily remove any photos of you or your family members that you ask us to.

We may, at times, post photos of events such as football games or readers' beach that show students and adults in a large group and/or at such a distance that the students are not identifiable. Any adults in the photographs (usually volunteers, faculty, or staff) will be asked permission before their photos are taken.

Our online donation page collects enough information to process a charge to your credit card. This is done through a secure server to ensure your privacy and your card number is NEVER revealed to us. We are notified of the donation, its amount, your name and email address by our hosting service, my-pta.org, so that we may properly thank you.l

Our hosting service, my-pta.org (a service of Click2Volunteer.com), collects information when you register with our site. They do use cookies. Their privacy policy may be read by clicking here.
